1.Materials and Construction

Our starry-sky perforated LED letters are manufactured with a durable all-metal structure and a PVC backing panel:

• Front Panel: 1.0 mm thick stainless steel
• Metal Returns: 0.6 mm thick stainless steel
• Back Panel: PVC/galvanized steel
• Lighting: Internal LED light source

The stainless steel structure provides excellent strength and a premium metal appearance, while the PVC/galvanized steel backing protects the internal lighting and wiring.

2.Production and Size Requirements

Maximum Single-Piece Size

The maximum recommended size for a single-piece component is:

1.2 m × 2.4 m

Larger perforated LED letters can be manufactured in separate sections and assembled during installation.

Minimum Stroke Width

≥ 10 mm

The actual minimum stroke width depends on the character size, perforation pattern, internal LED space, and structural requirements.

Recommended Minimum Character Size

• Chinese Characters: Over 10 cm in height
• Bold English Letters: Over 6 cm in height
• Artistic or Decorative Fonts: At least 15 cm in height

Small characters, narrow strokes, or complex fonts may need to be enlarged or simplified to ensure reliable fabrication and a clear starry lighting effect.

Recommended Return Depth

The metal return depth is selected according to the character height:

• 10–40 cm Characters: 2 cm return depth
• 40–60 cm Characters: 3 cm return depth
• 60–80 cm Characters: 4 cm return depth
• Characters Over 80 cm: 5 cm return depth

Deeper returns can be customized according to the client’s design, installation method, or required three-dimensional effect.

Stainless Steel Finish and Color Options

The 0.6 mm stainless steel returns are available in brushed or mirror-polished finishes, with silver as the standard color.
