Every quote we send states the lead time, the trade term and the packing method, so there are no surprises between deposit and delivery. This page explains how each of those works and what we need from you to choose the right option.
How an order runs
- You send artwork, sizes and the site details.
- We send a quotation with lead time and trade term, and a proof drawing.
- You approve the proof and pay the deposit.
- We manufacture and send photo updates at each stage.
- We book the shipment, send the documents, and follow the delivery through to your door.
Lead times by product
- Channel letters, standard order — 10-15 working days.
- Light box signs and neon — usually a few days faster.
- Monument and pylon structures — add one to two weeks for the frame and cladding.
- Bulk and franchise rollouts — scheduled in batches so you get partial deliveries if you need them.
- Rush production — available at +30% for most products.
Trade terms explained
- EXW — you collect from our factory and arrange everything.
- FOB — we deliver to the port and clear export; you pay freight and import.
- CIF — we also pay the sea freight and insurance to your port.
- DDP — we deliver to your address with duty paid, which is the simplest option if you do not have a customs broker.
Packing and crating
- Letters foam wrapped and numbered in installation order.
- Mounting templates, wiring diagrams and spare parts in the same crate.
- Custom wooden cases for sea freight, with moisture protection inside.
- Large structures ship in sections with numbered joints and an assembly drawing.
Air, sea or express
- Express courier — samples and small urgent orders.
- Air freight — when the date matters more than the freight cost.
- Sea freight — the normal choice for full orders and structures.
Documents and duties
- Commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading or air waybill.
- HS codes supplied for your customs broker.
- Certificate of origin on request.
- Under DDP we handle the duty; under EXW, FOB and CIF the importer pays it.
Damage and claims
Please photograph the crate and the contents before signing for the delivery, and send us the photos within 7 days. We replace or repair damaged items, and on larger projects we keep spare LED modules in stock for the same specification.
Frequently asked questions
Can you ship DDP to my door?
Yes. We can quote DDP so the price includes freight and duty, or EXW and FOB if you prefer to use your own forwarder.
Who pays the import duty?
Under EXW, FOB and CIF the duty is paid by the importer. Under DDP we handle it and it is included in our invoice.
How are the signs packed?
Foam wrapped and numbered, with mounting templates and wiring diagrams in the same crate, then boxed in a wooden case for sea freight.
What if something arrives damaged?
Photograph the crate and the parts before signing, send the photos within 7 days, and we replace or repair the damaged items.
Can you ship a sample first?
Yes — samples ship by express, and the freight is usually credited against the production order.
